Remember the classic Far Side cartoon in which the spiders are spinning a web at the bottom of a slide to try to catch a small child? There's not quite the disparity in sizes here, but the smaller creature did come out on top. Other life lessons to be learned are that nature is not pretty and life is not fair. I already knew all that, but sometimes it is good to be reminded.
