Raindrops Keep Fallin'
This is only indirectly a rain photo, but then I seem to be getting to this blog only indirectly this week. Besides catching up from the past trip, there's getting ready for the coming one, not to mention my annual employment stint at the Fall Fiber Festival. I've spent time the last couple of days pricing some really neat yarn that might end up in my stash as payment for my efforts. As for the mention of rain, it is falling outside and showing no signs of stopping before I need to go out in it. I chose the flower photo to help me remember the good side of rain.

I've Been to the Desert on a Horse with No Head?
Actually, it is not a horse; it is a donkey. And, as indicated by the tip of one ear, it does have a head. This is what happens when one attempts to take a quick photo through the car's windshield. It's been that kind of a week, with too many things going on. I had great hopes--and lists; one must have lists--of things to do during the rare "home alone" time I've had this week. Ha! Between needy pets and some quick-deadline work projects, that free time got to be quite costly. I did get to see an almost-headless donkey, though.

Loads of Little
I feel pulled in so many directions lately by too many little things. I picked up cat meds at the vet yesterday and discovered upon unbagging them last night that I had only gotten one bottle of something as opposed to the two I had paid for. That's a phone call for today and another trip into town today or tomorrow. That's just one of a long list of little things with which to deal. A big thing confronts you head-on; you deal with it and move past. With the little things, you knock down the first one only to face another ... and another ...and, you get the idea.
